How to Stand Out with Your Brand’s True Colors
If you grew up in the ’80s like I did, you’ll remember Cyndie Lauper’s famous lyrics, “I see your true colors shining through. I see your true colors, and that’s why I love you. So don’t be afraid to let them show…”
This year I had the amazing good fortune to work with color expert Arden Reece to pinpoint the “true colors” for my business and personal brand.
Based on her 3 decades of study and research of personal color, Arden first identified my Soul color (gold!) and Life Path color (blue) and from there pinpointed my Essence and Magnetic colors.
I then gave my customized color palette to my designer to create my new logo, website and business cards.
And I use this guide to pick the best colors to wear in my branding photos and on stage, as well as when meeting with a prospective client or when I’m in a more inward, restful state. (Yes, it’s as cool as it sounds!)
Recently, I interviewed Arden for my Savvy, Soulful & Successful Radio Show where we talked about how you can express yourself authentically with your true colors.
Arden shared her journey as the former owner of Wardrobe 911 and the Style Institute, as well as talked about the 5 color types, and how you can begin to stand out and attract the right attention to your business, with your true colors.
