How I’m putting my 2021 theme into action already ✨

Holy moly have we had a raucous start to this new year already!
How are you, my friend? Happy New Year 🙂
Have you been able to lean in even closer to yourself in the midst of the outer chaos, give yourself space to breathe, to feel, and to discern the best right actions, if any, for you to take?
My theme for 2021 is lightness of being.
This is inspired by a question Eckhart Tolle offers in The Power of Now, and it’s one that I’ve been using as a guiding question throughout my day, where I stop, pause and simply ask:
Is there joy, ease and lightness in what I’m doing?
I had the opportunity to put my 2021 theme into practice just last week. Here’s what happened….
I had a Speak Shine Sell Workshop planned for this month. The past four years I’ve offered this workshop in January with great success. So, of course, I was going to offer it again at this time. Marketing started last month, and wonderful people started signing up. But then… last week the registration number wasn’t where I wanted it to be two weeks away from the workshop. It was starting to feel like a big, stressful push to promote; my body’s energy wasn’t cooperating; and I wasn’t feeling the joy, ease and lightness in the effort.
So in the wee hours of last Wednesday morning, I had a middle-of-the-night-wake-up-
Having my year’s theme of “lightness of being” front & center helped me quickly re-establish my priorities, make a clear decision, change my course of action, and come back into the high-vibe state of JOY and infinite possibilities–even in the midst of outer turmoil.
Now let me be clear, lightness of being does not mean just sitting on the sidelines, counting clouds, and watching the world go by (although at times that may be exactly the right action I’m called to take).
My intention for the new year is this: It’s from this state of lightness, joy, ease and presence that I use my powerful feminine voice to speak up and speak out against racial injustice, violence, human trafficking and other societal ills–and emphatically declare my passionate stand for equality, fairness, justice, unity, compassion, abundance, and love.
Have you leaned in to receive your word or theme for the new year?
What are you sensing, feeling and knowing is yours to call in and create for yourself?
